DocMorris in Eskilstuna
Berlin - After having withdrawn from the privatisation process of the Swedish state owned pharmacies earlier, German Celesio now opened its first DocMorris pharmacy in the Scandinavian country. It is located in Eskilstuna, a city with 100,000 residents 100 kilometres west of the capital Stockholm. The new DocMorris pharmacy is one of ten pharmacies in the city.
In the medium term, Celesio wants to open more than 100 DocMorris pharmacies in Sweden. CEO Dr. Fritz Oesterle guaranteed the Swedish customers "better services, professional advice, longer opening hours and competitive prices”. According to Oesterle, Celesio's international expansion of DocMorris is making good process: "We are now present in Sweden, Ireland and Germany.”
